The Roar Foundation is deeply concerned about the serious problem in the United States concerning the breeding and selling of the exotic animals, especially cats. These lions, tigers, leopards, jungle cats, servals, and ocelots like any other "baby" animals are cute and adorable and cuddly at birth. But for breeders to represent them as "good pets when they grow up" as a marketing line is absurd, and criminal. These magnificent animals grow up to become unmanageable carnivores, and their owners who find themselves in literally life-threatening circumstances, have little choice when it comes to dealing with them. - Tippi Hedren
